Earthly Distractions
HLS asked about distractions.
In the last two weeks I have moved Marion into her room so beautifully decorated and prepared by MamaJama and the HLS. This entailed driving a truck 450 miles and flying a round trip in a day with four stops with Marion in tow.
I accepted my new position--
Outreach Lab Operations Manager

CAMC Health System, Inc. has an immediate opening for an Outreach Lab Operations Manager.The individual is responsible for the organization, management, and growth of a laboratory service outreach organization comprised of Marketing & Sales, Phlebotomists, Client Service personnel, Couriers, Draw Stations, Sample Processing, Billing and Finance. The individual will establish an entrepreneurial business environment with the primary focus on enhancing outreach patient service levels through a fully integrated laboratory service outreach program.A Bachelors degree in Medical Technology or related field and 3 years of generalist experience, one of which must have been in a supervisory capacity is required. While 5-7 years of experience in an Outreach Program and a BS in a related field may substitute for the BS in Medical Technology. Also, the successful candidate must have the following: Registration/Certifications/Licenses:CLP, CLS, MT.

I negotiated the purchase of our new house.

Glad to hear Marion settled in OK.
House looks beautiful guys. Nicely rural with a sensible downslope outside the landfill (sorry - garage) for bumpstarting the car on cold wintry days. And is that a triple garage? Lots of useful "space"!.
